It's True. Size Does Not MatterThis little quilt called Housing Department #7 measures 11" x 11". And it won third place in the Miniature Art Quilt catagory at the International Quilt Festival! Once again proving that size does not matter.
I'm so happy!

Congratulations!
Congratulations on your fabulous little quilt.
Congrats! Saw your post on the QA list. I also like to work small and feel a little intimidated by the gigantic quilts, so your win really makes me feel better about working small. Linda W
Yea!! But then again, your quilts are fabulous regardless of size!
Congratulations! This is a wonderfully joyful piece. What made you choose this one to enter over the other fun ones you've made?
You are so fun Laura and you deserve this award!

I love the whole housing dept. series. And how nice to be a wiener. Congratulations.
It is a wonderful little quilt that evokes cheerful thoughts. I am glad that a small quilt can be a BIG winner!
I'll be sure to check it out when I'm there!

This reminds me a lot of Vassily Kandinsky's Murnau paintings. Coincidence?
Laura,
I have been thinking a lot about this post. And while it may be true for your fabulous quilts, try telling that to my kids when they are trying to pick out a cookie from the bakery!
Congrats!
