Housing Department Mystery
For the past month I've been hibernating at home and hand stitching new little art quilts like this one, Housing Department #19. While adding embroidery stitches, I think of the residents living in these houses.
They are so mysterious. But I imagine they have really colorful lives.
Or maybe they have cabin fever like me!

I think they might be wondering why they built their houses so close to their neighbors and why the boys next door make so much noise while jumping on the trampoline. Oh wait, that's what I'm wondering.
If I had grandchildren, they would definitely get this as a wall hanging.
Do you use sashico thread or perle cotton for your embroidery? The texture's just great.
