Mother's Day Memories
It was a wonderful Mother's Day week for me. We celebrated last weekend with dinner. My son, Gus (above), took me to a movie, and my daughter, Louise (my partner in gardening), gave me some new gardening clogs.
My family is often the topic of my art quilts. But I'm not sure how to incorporate Star Trek, pasta, and green garden clogs into a quilt. Any ideas?

You could do an animated version of Spock or other Star Trek character with distinct recognizable features eating a plate of spaghetti, wearing green clogs?!!! Or do all of the three things in separate blocks instead of trying to incorporate them into one image? Or how about using the Star Trek logo as a decorative element, as well as pasta strands wildly flowing everywhere, and green clogs scattered about?

Just some thoughts!

LOL, I cracked up when I hit your blog page this morning. I hope your son doesn't have a complex from so many people laughing at him :-)
