Fanciful Stitches Give Away Again!

Look what greeted me at the front door on Friday, beautiful azaleas and a card full of good wishes from the friendly folks at C&T. A preview copy of my new book Fanciful Stitches, Colorful Quilts also arrived. They are the best publisher ever! (I just don't know how to tell them that the plant is doomed. Try as I might, house plants expire quickly at my house.)
But in celebration, I'd like to offer another Fist Full of Thread! to a lucky person that leaves a comment on my blog Tuesday. I figure if I give away enough thread, I'll convert everyone to the Joy of Stitching!

Maybe you can give the plant to a close friend with a green thumb. That way you can at least visit it.

Giggle.. you may have a brown thumb when it comes to plants.. but the color comes out in your quilts.. it is a fair compromise!

Poor plant - but it will be in such great company for its short stay with you. LOL

Very nice folks at the publishing house.

Congratulations on your new book!!! I'm sorry your plant will expire. We love azaleas, but we have them planted outside.

What a lovely way to congratulate you on your new book! Maybe the plant will live till spring, when you can plant it outside? I'd love a 'fistful of thread'...I'm always needing colors I don't have!

All you really have to do is keep that plant alive until spring. Then you can plant it outside! Or do you kill those too? Maybe you could make a quilt with them in it. Nah. Too much white.

I'm not great with plants either although my poinsettias are still vibrant. They are beginning to droop, so they are probably on their way out.
Would love to share in your celebration..CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
