It's not often you wake up to find a large razorback hog in your back yard. In fact, I'm guessing it's pretty rare. And that's why I'm hiding in my studio today and preparing to reveal another project from my new book Fanciful Stitches, Colorful Quilts tomorrow. Here's a little hint about tomorrow's project from the book: even in a Nice Neighborhood razorback hogs can turn up unexpectedly.
And hog or not, I'll be giving away another Fist Full of Thread tomorrow!

Now, that's interesting, and I'll be back to check it out.

This reminded me of an installation of what I call "brush art" at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, Ct....too bad that when I went, I picked up a deer tick and got Lyme disease!
Your teaser is great. Looking forward to it.
Laura, that hog reminds me of our wild hogs here in Texas....oink, oink......LOL!!!!!
With that big of humor out of the way....can't wait to get a peek of what you have in store.
That is funny, can't wait to see the new project.
I am going to play around today and try a small piece with wool and roving.

When I was in my early 20's a group of wild hogs ran into my car. Since it was about 6 am on a Saturday the insurance company was slow to believe me....(I was stopped by the way so don't feel too badly for those hogs!)
That razor back reminds me of Peccary. I use peccary hair to tie flies.
Whoa, how big is that old hog?!! Big enough to keep all the real, genuine hogs away, I'll bet!
It sounds like you would like the children's book, "The Orange Splot" by Manus Pinkwater.
He's just fabulous! Probably makes less mess than my dogs do too.......lolol
Ah, her's adorable!
