I would just love those socks! At the moment my feet are clad in bright purple, wool socks to keep the snow away! My sock draw is calling out to your amazing socks! Pick me! Pick me!
I agree will Quilthexle - ta so much for the idea! Now I know what to do with those left over dyes that make me feel guilty.

Love the socks, love your hand dyes and your threads. Mostly I am taken with "War of the Roses," which inspires me to take a look at the garden in a different way. Especially love how the clippers look like little birds with their mouths open!

I would love to be the winner of those great socks. I have a home daycare and always wear crazy bright socks. I have never had a pair of tie dyed and that may be a super fun project!
I would definitely wear those socks, Laura! I kind of like those colorful gloves on the quilt, too. Some years ago my son had a skin condition on his hands and had to wear a cream with cotton gloves (like the white glove ladies) on his hands. I dyed them all different colors. He had more fun wearing them that way.
I have a pair of panties hand dyed by Ami Simms (I had to rewrite that sentence. At first I had written, "I have a pair of Ami Simms' hand dyed panties." and that just sounded wrong! LOL) Anyway I would love to have a pair of Laura Wasilowski's hand dyed socks! ;o)

It's a bit sad that these are your last pair but who wouldn't want to win these??!! I participate in Ami Simms' annual Sisterhood of the Traveling Panties dyeing and have 14 pair of hand dyed panties :) Socks like these will fit right in!
I'm glad that I took the time out of our "getting ready for tea party" time to come by. So you are not going to hand dye any more socks?? what a shame but I understand, some things can be, well just better left for others. They are lovely and I hope I win, ooopps did I say that.

LOVE the socks! I'm glad you move on to fabric dying, but I think if it were me a stray pair would still end up in the dye every now and then.
