C&T Publishing (the best publishing house in the world!) has created a trailer for my new book, Fanciful Stitches, Colorful Quilts. In the trailer I sing a song about stitching as they show my quilts.
For some reason my voice sounds as if I were singing underwater or maybe gargling as I sing. I don't expect to sound like Aretha Franklin, but why do I have to sound like a drowning fish? Check it out and let me know what you think.

Love the gold fish
I think it's cute! It's a little metal or echo sounding, but still great. Love the slide show!
It's more like "in the shower" rather than "under water", but I love it!
I don't think it's gargling under ware at all. It's nice, you're musically talented as well :)
Some mispelling in my comment: naturally it should be water not ware :)
It's a great trailer! Just sounds like you were recorded in the shower!
What a fun and cute trailer for your book. I've been debating about purchasing this book and after watching the trailer I think I will buy it. You "sang" me into it--LOL!
Oh those fish are adorable! Looks like a great book. Off to look at the trailer.
I think that you sound fine, even with the weird sound quality.
Maybe it is your computer sound, sounds ok to me.
What a fun trailer and I got to see more of the wonderful projects in your book.

I will buy the book just because you were brave enough to sing acapella. (I couldn't do it even if they had a gun to my head, so kudos to you!) No gargling, just a nice vibrato, IMHO. Loved the rotating round world quilt, too!
Awesome!!
Well..........I think you climbed out of the water right in the middle of the first line and the rest sounded great!
Maybe it's your speakers. You sound fine at this end! Thanks for the nudge, too. I have the e-book version and have barely looked at it. Time to get going!
Drowning fishes? Ha Ha. It was very cute, you sound great.
Not as good as hearing you in person, which I have been lucky enough to do, but pretty typical of YouTube & computer sound.
That was fun to watch and listen to....my husband even stopped to hear your singing!!
It’s a good knowledge sharing website. I appreciated your work and knowledge. Thank for this. Website Designing and Development Company Ahmedabad
LOVED it! And the applause at the end was perfect!
VERY stirring indeed. Toe tapping good time and exceedingly creative lyrics. I didn't feel it sounded like you were gargling and certainly not gargling "under ware", which comment totally cracked me up!! The visuals were too much!! Apparently I have an overactive imagination LOL!! To other readers of your blog - If you are on the the fence about the book trust me it is LOVELY and very inspirational - in the embroidery sense, nothing could match that song!!
I thought it sounded great. Thanks for the "value added" with my book. :)
