Guest Artist: From Way Down South

Isn't this a lovely quilt? This is made by my friend Maria Cristina from Argentina. You really need to check out her blog and see her beautiful work. As they say: ¡Es muy bonito!

Maria Cristina says that my blog has inspired her to dye fabric and try new techniques. Her blog has inspired me as well. Her abstract designs are really appealing and fresh. Isn't it wonderful we can see art from any hemisphere at any time?

I don't speak spanish, but, I can look at the pretty pics. I had to wipe the drool off the keyboard! Loved her work. Thanks for the introduction. Sandi

Beautiful work, I do love abstract too. Maybe when I finish my ark piece, I will try some art pieces. My brain is going to need something to keep it busy in the next few weeks;)

What beautiful work! If your Spanish is rusty there is a great google translator! copy and paste in! I know it takes a little time but some of it is well worth it!!
