Here's What I Like About Fun People
You meet fun people where ever you go. Like my friends Chardel and Susan above from QuiltWorks NW in Bellevue, WA. What makes them fun you ask?
They know how to enjoy themselves when they make art. They are fearless, willing to take chances, and obviously don't take life too seriously. My kind of people.
Chardel and Susan are just a few of the folks that took my classes at the QuiltWorks NW shop. We made leaves. We made tiny homes. We made tasteless jokes. We made friends. And that's what I like about fun people like quilters. They make good friends!
And my new best friend, Sequana, is the winner of yesterday's Free on Friday Give-Away. Congratulations Sequana!

Oh yea!!!! I love to win stuff.
I have to thank our mutual friend Wanda for sending me over the first day. I now have you in my Reader so will be around all the time.
How exciting to start a day like this.....:)
Yaay for Sequana.
Beautiful group of friends in the classes of fusion art ... enjoy ... enjoy ...
Had I known you were in Bellevue I would have joined the fun! Thanks for introducing me to the die cutter. I'm looking at things a bit differently now!
Amen to being fearless! Sweet faces!
Having fun and letting go is the best part. I tend to be on the fuss budget side, lol. I need to loosen up a bit;)

Amen to that! Hmm...my word verification today is merify....seems like a great word for this post.
life is short so fun people are the important ones to incude! i just had a half dozen fun folks over to paint with me and that is the new high... sharing art with folks ready to "take up the brush and hush the inner critic", hey i said that! ...be well, sonja
I can see by the picture that fun, friends, and art are on the same page. I run a B&B in PEI and I have this little moto, "you come as a guest and leave as a friend taking away some of the best life has to offer." However, being a scrapbooker that doesn't leave much time for making a quilt, I really need to get at the material I bought 3 years ago before it rots and make that quilt I wanted to. Maybe if I took a class I'd get it done.
Looks like a fun class!
