Artfabrik and me.
If you encounter a giant paintbrush at the International Quilt Festival you know you've found the Masters: Art Quilts II exhibit.

It's a great honor to be part of the Masters: Art Quilts Volume II book. When asked to submit 1 quilt for a traveling exhibit based upon the book, I immediately chose the paintbrush (also known as Artfabrik). It represents my ties to the world of surface design, quilting, and art.

But mostly it celebrates color. We all love color!

What a wonderful representation of fabric as art. I love the rainbow of "paint" from the brush. One can see your brain truly works in color.

I was walking through the displayed quilts in Houston. I saw a larger-than-life-paintbrush at work and knew that Ms. Wasilowski must have been the artist. And sure enough she was and here it is. :-) As inspiring as she always is. Thanks for sharing your art and your products with us in Houston!
