You know.....it does look vacant. Maybe it *needs* some bugs. Or some kind of actual life in it.
The first thing I noticed is that it isn't "wonky" like your designs that I like best. Then you added wonky trees! yaaay .....now can you put a cat in the window?
Before the trees, your eyes were automatically drawn up the path to ... nothing. Adding the trees does away with that - very cute !
I like it a lot better with trees. The sky was too empty. Now you can pretty it up with your stitching.

Yep! The trees made it seem cozy--whereas without the trees it looked forlorn and sad. Amazing what a couple of trees will do. Janet, in Wash.

before i saw you added the trees i was thinking 'it needs trees', but now it needs some birds. i think your creations are fabulous.

Do you feel like stitching alot? How about some flowers to your bushes or in the grass; birds in the sky; pebbles in machine stitching on the path, and a little dog?
The trees do the job. I agree it did look a little bare in the sky. Only thing I can suggests is putting in a little weenie dog. I have 3 of the little monsters....hehehehehe! Have a great weekend! I adore your art!
I can't tell you how much better I feel that you spruced up the sky area! It's been bothering me for a year too! When I was reading it, I thought you were going to ask for suggestions for the sky and I was thinking hot air balloon! Doesn't everyone have those flying over their house? Tee-hee! I love the trees you added though and that's probably more realistic. It looks fabulous!

Don't like blue path and bushes are overgrown; needs a few animals or washing on a line so that it appears inhabited.
First thing I thought of were some Canada Geese flying south for the winter, or now that you have the trees how about a crow or two in the sky and a rabbit checking out the garden?
It has come along nicely!
The trees were the perfect addition. Lovely and inviting.
