What I've Left Behind

My bags are packed for my first teaching tour of 2012. This is the same ratty luggage that trekked with me to several countries and states in 2011. Surely they look as old as I feel.
But suddenly, as I place the last yard of fabric in an over weight suitcase, I cheer up. Soon I'll be with a group of creative quilters. And I get to leave this pile of ironing behind! See you all soon!

If my pile of ironing was that lovely and colorful I might not even mind doing it. Have a creative trip.

Bon voyage! I just looked at your teaching schedule and thought, I couldn't have handled that even when I was 20. You're not old if you can keep up that pace.
