Have you ever been drawn to a color, seduced by a hue? Several years ago I went through my yellow phase. The yellow phase quilts were all built on yellow fabrics. It made for some pretty bright quilts!

Today the idea of using yellow as a base for a design seems a little scary. What am I afraid of? Have I gotten soft in my old age? No. Just not as bright.
