Alas, It All Comes to an End!

Today it all comes to an end!
I've been celebrating the one year anniversary of my book, Fanciful Stitches, Colorful Quilts, all month long. But alas, today is the last day for my give away of the book. Please leave a comment today on the blog and who knows, you may win the final copy!
Nice Neighborhood #5 by Laura Wasilowski
But on a happy note, some good things are happening here at the AQS show in Paducah! My quilt, Nice Neighborhood #5, went home with a collector today. She will add it to her collection of other art quilts.
Ann Fahl, Frieda Anderson, Caryl Fallert, Stacy Michell
And we are meeting and greeting lots of old friends and making new friends too. Here are some a hot quilting babes you may know surrounded by lovely quilts in Caryl's studio. Leave a comment about hot quilting babes and you may win a book!

There should be one more hot BABE in that photo -
Where is that fun and witty Dean of the Chicago School of Fusing, The Queen of Fused Art Quilts, Laura Wasilowski? Probably she is behind the camera - but the photo is clearly "missing a hot quilting babe."

I will be visiting the quilt show later today. I look forward to seeing the "hot quilting babes" and all the other wonderful things the show has to offer. I spoke to you at last years show when everything was spread out due to the flooding. I would love to win a copy of your book. I love the free style you have and there is nothing better than hand embroidery embellishments!

Right there in that one pic we have two HQBs who are coming home from Paducah with prizes......

That would make them PWHQBs. Well deserved too.

Does having hot flashes count as a "hot quilting babe"? Then I know some people to nominate! I'd love the copy of your book to learn how to make something approaching your wonderful, whimsical quilts.
