Guest Artist: A Glowing Gift

African Sunset by Janet using Artfabrik fabrics.
Today's guest artist is Janet from the UK who composed this eye-catching quilt using my hand-dyed fabrics in the blocks. She made it for her daughter-in-law for a special birthday. (I must get on Janet's birthday list.)
Spice Road fabric colorway.
Janet used 1 yard each of the Spice Road and Really Red fabric colorways for the background blocks that measure 4 x 6 inches. African fabric makes up the shield shapes (her daughter-in-law once lived in Malawi) and the binding in her glowing quilt.  Thank you Janet for sharing your beautiful work of art!

This is SO beautiful! What an advertisement for your fabrics. (Must purchase some of Laura's fabrics.)

Didn't she use the fabrics brilliantly! Janet does not have a blog or website but I can tell you she lives in the UK and I'll see her next year at their All Guild Meeting in April. I'll tell her then how much you enjoyed her quilt.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter.

I can only imagine how breath taking this must be in person! Because as we all know your fabric glows on it's own!
