Nice Neighborhood is a project from
Fanciful Stitches, Colorful Quilts my book published by C&T Publishing a year ago. Tomorrow we celebrate this momentous event with another book give away!
Another thing to celebrate is the versatility of the 11 house patterns in the book. Here is an example of a variation called
Nice Neighborhood #5 before all the stitching is complete. I used some of the templates from the book but added a few other free-cut elements to change up the design.

I can hear the dishes crashing off the tables and the thuds of people rolling off their beds in that neighborhood. Makes me suspicious of the word "nice" in the caption.
I need to make some fun pieces for my daughter, she got a new place, so will be fun to do something that she likes with brights and fun fabrics.
