Inspired by the Prairie Lights

This is what I like about living on the prairie. A drive in the country in the early evening can be so colorful!
Prairie Lights #3 by Laura Wasilowski
Inspired by a sunset, this quilt reminds me of those quiet evenings after a long day of working in the yard or visiting with friends. It feels so peaceful.

Spectacular sunsets are indeed one of the best things to see! Thanks for showing us yours! Were the birds in yours from hand stitches or painted on??

Hi Cornwoman,
The birds are hand stitched with a little V shaped stitch. Sort of a variation on the Fly Stitch.
Thanks for stopping by the blog!

This is so pretty. The colors in your quilt are even better than Nature's.
