Javelena Spotted in Northern Illinois

Javelena Spotted in Northern Illinois
Woman Freaks Out

(Elgin, IL) Early today an elderly woman spotted what she thought was a javelena posed in a menacing manner outside her back door. Shoving friends, women, and children aside, she raced back into the house shouting, "Javelena! Javelena!"

Animal control officials were immediately summoned to the scene and declared the culprit to be a "sculpture of a pig" placed artfully in the garden foliage. Her husband, and assumed pig placer, was unavailable for comment.

Let this be a warning to you. Garden sculpture can be dangerous.

We spent two weeks in Tucson and never saw a Javelena!

That is one of the best garden sculptures I've ever seen. If I could find his cousin, I'd invite him to my garden.

Bwaaahhahaha. Great story.

My Dad went out to get the paper early one winter morning and saw a bear going thru a neighbor's garbage. He nervously backed up toward the house when the bear stood up. He realized it was a local woman in her full length fur garbage picking.
