Bird Stitchery #4: The Bird's Headgear

As we all know, I do not look good in a hat. Our bird, on the other hand, is badly in need of headgear. And that's where the delightful Pistil Stitch comes into play. Using that same Sunrise Size 12 pearl cotton, a set of 5 Pistil Stitches is placed around the crest of his little head.
Our little bird's chapeau is further embellished with Couching. The stem of each Pistil Stitch receives a good couching with a size 12 Aquamarine pearl cotton. I'm a little envious of how good he looks in a hat. So, tomorrow, I poke him in the eye. You're going to want to see that!
