Joyful Heart #22 by Laura Wasilowski
Don't you like the idea of taking a very simple image, like a heart, and making it into to something fun?  Try hand stitchery. Hand stitching really transformed the surface of this quilt from something ordinary to something full of texture. Gotta love that hand embroidery!

Thanks, Laura! I love those ebooks from QA! It definitely adds something to the heart to have the hand stitching on it.

WOW - I like that a lot. I'm preparing to do some stitching on a workshop piece from Frieda last month in Asheville.
