To Stitch or Not to Stitch

Little Bird on the Prairie #26 by Laura Wasilowski
To stitch or not to stitch. That is the question. If Hamlet had been a quilter, no doubt he would have asked himself this question 10 times a day. He was such a worry wart.

I had considered not machine stitching the Little Bird.  After all, the quilt only measures only 7" x 11". There's not a lot of space for machine work. But I'm glad I added the quilting around the little birds space. Makes him look more content. Unlike...... Hamlet.

It completes him and we quilter so enjoy the texture it creates.

It definitely benefits from the machine quilting!

Everything's better with quilting on it. (or is that butter?)
