Free on Friday: A Class for You

Your ticket to paradise.

In celebration of my new class on Craftsy, Hand-Stitched Collage Quilts, I'd like to give some lucky reader a free ticket. It's a ticket to one free online class on Craftsy. You can take my class (starting January 3) or some other class. However if you leave a comment today and win this free class from Craftsy I have one stipulation: take a cake decorating class instead of my quilting class and you have to send me a piece of cake.

What a fun Friday gift! I live in the middle of nowhere so Craftsy classes are one of the few options we have for classes!

Yes, please... to your class, not to the cake decorating. Sorry, no dessert for you. Thanks for the opportunity.

I can't eat cake, so that class would not be fun, lol.

Hi Laura - I would love to win your class! I used to make a 'Christmas Cake' every year for my kids - started by baking a huge 'fruit cake' on the 1st of Nov - then 'fed' it with a 'magic elixir' for about 6 weeks - and when it was nice and 'plump' we would wrap it in marzipan and decorate it... usually with a theme of some kind - like the Wizard of Oz or Peter Pan.. I still have the decorations. I made Gingerbread houses, too!

Edie said...

Craftsy *so* rocks! I've taken several classes there and am in the midst of several, too, and I'd love, love, love to take yours! I'm gluten sensitive, so no stinkin' cake classes for me! LOL!
