Why You Should Keep It Clean

See this sewing machine? It doesn't work. Why? Cause its owner is very neglectful. When you sew it moves like a 100 year old man trying to get out of bed. And it sounds even grumpier. My friend, Frieda Anderson, has an excellent post about keeping your equipment clean. Too bad I didn't read this earlier. That's why my sewing machine is packed up and ready to go to the repair shop. My advice to you, keep it clean!

I get a lot of mess in my bobbin area and always cleaning that, but when it gets underneath, my machine stops working, so I take it to the shop and she cleans it out and updates any new downloads for me, so that helps.

Since you and Frieda are going to meet in Puywallup, you ought to take it to her to clean for you! lol I know....I'm a disturber. I'm a cleaning fool when it comes to my machines. I took my 1996 Bernina machine in to ask for an estimate on a repair, and the guy asked if I'd ever used the machine because it was so clean. lol Little does he know.....
