ACES

Association for the Combination of Embroidery Stitches
ACES: Uniting Stitches and Stitchers around the world.

In my never ending quest to bring embroidery stitches to the masses, I present to you an episode of ACES. ACES (the Association for Combining Embroidery Stitches) is dedicated to uniting stitches and stitchers around the world.

In this week's episode: Taking a simple shape (not unlike that of a light bulb), quickly convert into a one of our feathered friends through the miracle of stitch combinations! Note the Fern Stitch tail feathers, Couched legs and toes, and Blanket Stitch around the body. Add a few Straight Stitches, Scattered Seed Stitches, and the odd French Knot and suddenly it's a bird on a mission.
Join ACES and get your stitches together!
The End.

As we continue our soap opera, As the Stitch Turns, we find a member of ACES (the Association for Combining Embroidery Stitches) searching for a stitch combination that is easy to stitch and non-brain taxing. She is a dedicated stitcher but currently over-taxed by too much celebrating of the season.
In this weeks episode: While dozing in her comfy stitching chair, our stitcher dreams of this simple stitch combination X-X-X, Cross Stitch, Straight Stitch, Cross Stitch, Straight Stitch. At last, a stitch combination for the overwhelmed stitcher who fears ridicule by the ACES community. Another disaster averted!
The End.

The battle to bring embroidery stitches to the masses continues at ACES. ACES, the Association for Combining Embroidery Stitches, uniting stitches and stitchers around the world. With ACES you never stitch alone.

In this week's episode: Like little soldiers lined up on a battle field the Scattered Seed Stitch and the Cross Stitch form an alliance against the dreaded Herringbone Stitch.  Note the orderly combination that  builds pattern and unity across the fabric plain. The dreaded, fearsome Herringbone Stitch has not a chance! Another victory for ACES!
The End.

The quest for stitch serenity continues for a fellow ACES member! ACES, the Association for Combining Embroidery Stitches, uniting stitches and stitchers around the world. With ACES your stitches have friends.
In today's episode of ACES we find our intrepid stitcher at home in her palatial estate contemplating her palatial place. But alas, something is missing. It's a lovely abode, but in need of a little landscaping. No matter. It's ACES to the rescue!
By adding a few stitch combinations here and there (plus the oft needed hedge prune) our stitcher creates an lovely landscape that any pruner would admire. She makes inviting vegetative stuff lining the walkway with a stitch combo of Lazy Daisy and Straight Stitches. Then she repeats those same stitches on the tree trunks and tree tops. It is horticultural bliss.

Her home is now complete thanks to ACES! ACES friend of gardeners and tree trimmers everywhere.
The End.
